As the UK hosts the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021, the Cathedral and its community celebrate this with a number of events.

Chester Youth Climate Change Conference
Come and listen, take part in discussions and consider how you can make a difference. Chester Youth Climate Change Conference is an opportunity is to raise awareness of Climate Change Issues in Cheshire, and to give a platform for under 25’s to engage with the issues by hearing from international and local speakers of a variety of ages.

COP26 Exhibition
Chester looks to tackle the question “What impact can little old me really make?” with over 20 exhibits tackling topics such as energy, transport, waste, climate action, education and much, much more.

All Creation Waits
Chester Cathedral and the Chester Sustainability Forum host a screening of All Creation Waits, the film of a dance theatre performance telling a contemporary story of St Francis and St Clare in the context of climate change.
