The Refectory Café is set in our thirteenth century monk’s dining hall and is one not to be missed. Whether on a cathedral visit, a shopping trip in Chester, or a business meeting, our cosy eatery is the perfect pit-stop for coffee or lunch.
We’ve just reopened following a small refurbishment, and the Refectory Café is now directly managed by the Cathedral Team.
Our cafe includes a seventeenth-century tapestry on the west wall, paintings representing the Earls of Chester and the beautiful Creation Window depicting the six days of creation.
