Come and hear the enchanting tale of ‘Awesome Anselm’ this Christmas. The festive tale imaginatively brings to life a medieval carving of a mouse which can be found in our Cathedral Quire. This event will take place in the magical setting of the Chapter House, adorned with a dozen Christmas trees, and is suitable for children of all ages.
The story telling will last approximately 30 minutes, after which children will receive a Christmas gift. There will then be a short, optional tour around the Cathedral to visit some of the characters from the story.
The story was written by Jane our Canon Missioner and Vice Dean, illustrated by Patricia our Volunteer Manager, and delivered by Emma our Elf (…and Retail and Enterprise Assistant).
A truly unique experience.
