This workshop – a part of our ARK Public Education Programme – will focus on the production of an ornate chest to represent the Ark of the Covenant that stored the stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written. Using leather hard clay, participants will receive a demonstration on how to construct their box or chest out of clay slabs. Afterwards, you may spend time decorating your creation.
