Two artists work simultaneously to create a truly unique and magical evening, on behalf of The Prince’s Trust Charity.
Concert pianist Helen Farrar performs some of the world’s most romantic music whilst renowned artist Richard Gower paints live alongside her. Richard’s painting will be auctioned online following the recital with all the proceeds from the auction going to the Prince’s Trust. Helen is a UK-based pianist and winner of seventeen international competitions. She was granted a full scholarship to study at The Royal College Of Music and has since performed as a soloist at numerous prestigious venues including The Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House.
Richard studied at Batley College of Art in the 1980s where he specialised in fine art and sculpture. Over the years his paintings have attracted a number of high-profile collectors such as The Duchess of York, The Lord Mayor of Westminster, and Her Majesty The Queen.
VIP tickets include a champagne reception on arrival. The Cathedral Refectory will be open pre-event and during the interval to purchase drinks.
