The languages of faith and poetry have much in common: they both explore the unseen and help us to articulate what may take us beyond words.
Following Chester Cathedral’s successful Lent Petry Discussion Group, this is an opportunity to read, respond, and reflect on poems that relate to the seasons of the church year. A range of poets will be represented in the discussions – from traditional to innovative, past and contemporary – chosen mainly from a Christian perspective.
Join us in Chester Cathedral’s Exhibition Library as we explore how the spiritual and the sublime are explored in words. Sessions run monthly until November 2022 (see dates below).
