An exhibition of paintings and drawings. Featuring a colourful depiction of Rome, Eros, and other themes by Artist: Brian Charles Donnelly. This exhibition is dedicated to Brian’s sons, Lawrence Charles Donnelly and Oliver James Donnelly.
Brian is former Head of The Faculty of Expressive Arts And Design At Liverpool College. He was also a Keynote Speaker in Art and Design in London and Oxford.
He writes:
Painting is a necessity in my life and a refreshing escape from banality. It provides me with opportunities to create something entirely new.This is often an exhausting process, a wanton chase, aiming to create a fantastic representation, of how I see and dream about the world around me. Interesting strands have developed in the form of Philosophical, Literary and Poetic responses, best illustrated by my Rome and Eros themes.
