A fascinating exhibition of Metal detecting discoveries.

Metal detecting enthusiasts from across the northwest region will descend on Chester Cathedral for the “Treasures Unearthed Exhibition 2023” – an Exhibition of Metal Detecting Discoveries.  Members of metal detecting clubs from across the region will be setting up their stalls to show off some of their most precious and interesting finds at this one-day event.

Visitors can also bring along any unidentified or interesting finds themselves, as the Portable Antiquities Scheme’s Finds Liaison Officers will also be on hand to give advice and to identify and record finds.
