Prayer for Ukraine: God of mercy and grace, we pray for the people of Ukraine and Russia, and all those who suffer at this desperate time. Be with those whose homes and livelihoods are threatened, and who live in fear. Give wisdom to the Leaders of the World, to have patience, wisdom and courage to stand up to the evil of War, so that swords be turned into ploughshares and faith will lead all to peace; for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, the Prince of Peace. Amen.

This week is Dementia Action Week, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Society. Pray we may act together to improve the lives of people affected by dementia, and that the cathedral may be a place which is dementia-friendly shown through our welcome, staff and volunteers.
