The Cathedral Choir sings their annual devotion for Good Friday, where we hear the Passion story told in words and music.

The programme includes music by Robert White (Organist and Master of the Choristers of Chester Cathedral 1566-70) and Kenneth Leighton’s mini cantata Crucifixus Pro Nobis, which concludes with a setting of the famous Passiontide text Drop, drop, slow tears.

Entrance for this service is through Southwest porch
