Saturday Singing Club
For children who love to sing
Saturday Singing Club is a fun, relaxed club for primary school children aged 6 and above. The club takes place Saturdays during term time in the Cathedral Song School from 10am – 11.30am.
The singing club performs at services in the Cathedral throughout the year including Mothering Sunday, Harvest and at the Christmas Eve Crib Service.
Each term the singers learn popular songs and learn basic music theory. They learn about good singing technique, including posture, breathing and listening to each other and the accompanist. Children do not need to have any previous music experience or be able to read music to join the group. All that is necessary is a passion for singing.
The cost is £3.50 a week per child.
