Artist in Residence - Opportunity to Tender / Partner

Chester Cathedral became a Cathedral of Sanctuary in 2023 and, with the help of Cheshire West and Chester Council Sanctuary Funding, is seeking to develop its successful Artist-in-Residence programme to reflect its commitment to this cause. This initiative will provide a powerful platform for artists with lived experience of seeking sanctuary or expertise in migration themes, offering opportunities to share authentic stories and challenge narratives of exclusion and othering.

HR and Training Officer

£27,300 per annum

The Cathedral is looking for an HR and Training Officer who will work closely with our Volunteer Development Officer and payroll team, this important role supports our excellent team of staff and volunteers. Managing all aspects of staff recruitment, development and wellbeing provision.

We are seeking a colleague with experience in managing people and recruitment procedures and policies in operational and managerial settings. Supervision and support can be offered to those in their early career who are wanting to learn and develop their skills, or this could be an interesting and fulfilling role for people who already have a great deal of HR experience.

Tenor Lay Clerk
