Waves lecture: 'Water; Life or Death' Vice Dean and Canon Missioner of Chester Cathedral, Jane Brooke discusses how climate change is affecting the lives of people in Melanesia especially through rising sea levels. The Anglican province of Melanesia is linked with the Diocese of Chester through diocesan visits and school contacts. Band of the Royal Air Force College

As part of their UK wide Anniversary Concert Tour, this special charity concert performed by one of the finest military bands in the country celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Royal Air Force Music Charitable Trust. All proceeds will go to the charity, which was established in 2004 to raise welfare funds through the performance of live music by Royal Air Force musicians.

Jazzectomy in the Garth

Temporary Closure

Due to a private service, the main body of the cathedral will be closed today until 1pm. However, the cathedral cloisters, gift shop and Refectory Café remain open as normal. This closure does affect The DEEP exhibition, which also opens today at 1pm.
