Due to the Graduation Ceremonies for the University of Chester, the Cathedral will be closed today. However, the Gift Shop remains open - and access to The Angel Chapel will also be maintained. Furthermore, the Cathedral Falconry and Nature Gardens also remain open.

Interfaith Discussion The Lord Mayor of Chester, Mark Williams, and Vice Dean and Canon Missioner of Chester Cathedral, Jane Brooke lead a panel of representative faiths including those from the Jewish, Sikh and Islamic faith who will speak about, ‘what matters most to me in my faith’. The discussion is supported by Chester Cathedral and Cheshire West and Chester Council. Chester Philharmonic Orchestra: Season of Fable and Fantasy Arnold -  Overture Peterloo Vaughan Williams - Tuba Concerto ( Soloist Les Neish) Berlioz -  Symphonie Fantastique Conductor - Marco Bellasi It is 200 years since the Peterloo Massacre when 18 protesters were slaughtered and over 400 were injured by a cavalry charge of the Manchester and Salford Yeomanry.
