Trena Cox (1895-1980) made an enduring commitment to Chester, living and working in the city throughout her long career as a professional woman stained glass artist. Her vibrant designs can be found at over sixty locations throughout the North West and North Wales, with a small number at locations further afield, including Walsingham. She was a passionate advocate for the preservation of Chester’s heritage. The exhibition will celebrate Trena Cox’s enormous artistic contribution to this area in the centenary of her move to Chester to establish her career.
