Don't be a fool this April, here's everything that's on at Chester Cathedral this month. 

There are two Bible Talks left in the Lent series both taking place in the Cloister room. Wednesday 2 April Professor William Horbury will explore ‘we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church’ and on Wednesday 9 April Professor Philip Alexander will be discussing ‘we believe in the life of the world to come’. On Friday 4 April there will be a Bereavement Café pop up in Café 1092 at 10am. The bereavement café is facilitated by a fully qualified HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist and trauma specialist. It is a safe place for open conversations, empathy and shared support as we navigate healing and grief together.

The evening of 4 April we are joined by the Chicago Blues Brothers. They have combined the best arrangements from the last five tours to bring you the greatest set list for their RESPECT greatest hits tour. The final Lent course takes place on Tuesday 8 April where participants will be looking at Easter Sunday: When? | When will my prayers be answered. Celebrating the hope, we have in the resurrection of Jesus and anticipating the day when all our prayers will find their answer in his return. With special guests Sammy Greig and Ladan Nouri, imprisoned for her faith. Book your free space here.

Calling all Swifties! Missing the Eras Tour? Come a long for a night of Taylor Swift by Candlelight on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 April. Featuring a live band and incredible vocalist who will take you on a journey of iconic Taylor Swift hits. Book your ticket here before they sell out.

Join us for a special Stained Glass Tour on Wednesday 16 April at 11am. Chester Cathedral has an impressive collection of internationally significant stained glass, ranging from medieval fragments to the 21st century ‘Creation Window’. On this engaging tour you will learn about the makers, designers, and restorers of these magnificent works of art and hear some of the fascinating stories connected to them. Book your space here.

Come along for Chester Philharmonic Orchestra April Song and Dance Concert on Saturday 26 April. Continuing their season’s theme of song and dance, this concert features a whole range of exciting dance and ballet music under the energetic baton of Stephen Threlfall. Book tickets here
