The Chester Christmas Market may be gone but don’t worry you still have one week left to see the Christmas Tree Festival at Chester Cathedral. The final day to experience the Christmas Trees is Sunday 5 January.

The Cathedral Choir is on break for Christmas holiday which means there will be Said Evening Prayer until they return on Thursday 9 January when we will return to Choral Evensong. If you’ve never attended a service at the Cathedral before Evensong is a perfect introduction to worship and opportunity to hear our incredible Choir in action. We welcome everyone of all faiths and none both at the Cathedral and at worship.

Sunday 5 January 3pm join us for the Epiphany Carol Service. This is a special service to greet the arrival of the three wise men, with music sung by the Cathedral’s Nave Choir and carols for all to sing. Pre-booking is not required, simply come along to the Cathedral. The service will also be streamed on our official YouTube channel.
